Last night, after few drinks we indulged into a discussion about known faces and debates went on n on without any conclusion. Everyone had own definition of known personalities. For some people, known faces simply mean folks who can be frequently seen in digital, tv or print media. For others, it' more about the traits they have and how many of the people follow those characteristics. Without focusing on any particular part, this Photo Journey is dedicated to people we can recall from past Photo Journeys...Very first photograph shows Mr. Saurabh Shukla and Mona Wasu, two known faces of bollywood. Saurabh Shukla has done lot of movies in last 25 years and he is still associated with Thatre. Above Photograph was shot in the beginning of this year, when we was showcasing his play RED HOT during 14th Bharat Rang Mahotsav at Kamani, Delhi. After watching this play, I became one of the big fan of his acting. Also I could appreciate the fact that live theatre needs lot of skills to perform for a longer period of time without any retake.Here comes Mr. Aditya Arya, who is a Photographer and people know him as Indian Photo Archivist. Initially I was following his work at various places and hardly knew him, but always impressed by his thoughts around Photography and how he can help in making better future through historical data lying in form of visuals/photographs. One year, back I got in touch with him and got opportunities to meet him various times. Then I was exposed to his expertise on photography, a different line of thought and amazingly organized working style. So far, I have not seen a workspace like his. A great mix of new technologies with historical equipments which compel you thinking about the way, he is managing a huge collection of equipments and archives. It's difficult to explain in words, as one has to visit his place to believe it. Above photograph was shot at one of his Food Photography workshop at APEX, Vasant Vihar, Delhi.Dinesh has his own special style of Photographing and a thought leader in this industry. Many of the buddying photographers follow him and he is also a kind of person, who is quite active in many of the communities. he along with Prashant Panjiar came up with an idea of 'Nazar ka Adda', where people share their work and present how they went about those photographs. Platform is open for all Photo Enthusiasts and presence is every other adda is increasing continuously. These days Dinesh is also asscoaited with APEX (Academy of Photography Excellence) as Director. His leadership has been quite helpful for APEX and students of the place.Although the Photo Journey started with Theatre Personalities, but suddenly three Photographer names come into my mind. Here is another Photographer, Mr. Nitin Yadav who is qute popular among Motorsport enthusiasts. He is popularly known as Indian Motorsports Photographer. A humble guy with passion about Photography, Travel and Motorsports. He is one of the inspiration for many of the beginners who are following Photography as hobby. For Nitin, Photograpy started as hobby and few years back he left his job and now full time into the Photography and enjoying it a lot. he owns a Gypsy and mostly use the same for various Motorsports projects across the country.This Photo Journey will continue with more faces from different walks of life...
