Indo German Urban Mela opened for the public on October 27th at the Indraprastha Park. On 26th, this place was introduced to Media and Bloggers. The Indo-German Urban Mela was a unique blend of technology, science, culture and entertainment. This urban extravaganza was a part of the celebrations titled 'Germany and India 2011-2012: Infinite Opportunities' that commemorate 60 years of the establishment of Indo-German diplomatic ties.This stall was my favorite ! Which was for kids. idea was to involve kids in games and teach them the value of water. Every experiment was focused about conservation of water and utilizing it in better way at home. This lab was for kids of 12-15 age band and quite exciting. I referred many kids for this stall and most of them liked it and unknowingly started saving water, which was very much appreciated by their parents. A cute car with wonderful sustainability capabilities.Deutsche Bank is also running a Photography contest and many of the bloggers showed interest in participating in this.Former Miss Universe and Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen, along with the German Ambassador to India, Michael Steiner and Governor of Delhi, Tejender Khanna were present on the occasion to mark the Opening of Indo German Urban Festival in Delhi, INDIAThis was one of the most interesting stalls showcasing solar planes and solar energy enabled aerodromes in air. Deutsche Bank, Banking for Green, was there to promote this innovation. As an innovator in the financial sector, Deutsche Bank, supports innovation in other areas as well - with a clear focus on sustainability.During this evening we had fresh sneak peek into the cultural events, tour of the Mela by the installation artist and designer Markus Heinsdorff ... The Indo-German Urban Mela was a unique blend of technology, science, culture and entertainment. This urban extravaganza was a part of the celebrations titled 'Germany and India 2011-2012: Infinite Opportunities' that commemorate 60 years of the establishment of Indo-German diplomatic ties.This stall was my favorite ! Which was for kids. idea was to involve kids in games and teach them the value of water. Every experiment was focused about conservation of water and utilizing it in better way at home. This lab was for kids of 12-15 age band and quite exciting. I referred many kids for this stall and most of them liked it and unknowingly started saving water, which was very much appreciated by their parents.
