Dinner with Evernote Fans, who prefer to Remember Everything for making their modern life manageable

It's about the day when I took off from office to see the awesome Google Doodles, meet creative folks at The Grand Hotel, chatting with people passionate for wine & then a quick round of Lodhi Garden near Khan Market. The final thing was dinner with Evernote Fans & passionate folks from different walks of life. So we met at Smoke House Deli in Khan Market. The whole day was quite hectic & when I reached Khan Market, my phone-battery was completely dead. I didn't know any of the folks by face and didn't have phone numbers handy. Reached Smoke House Deli but couldn't figure out the table I had to join :). Came out, asked a shopkeeper to help me in charging my phone. But soon after Karan saw me and he was also going for same dinner. Then finally I met some of the passionate Technology/Lifestyle bloggers & Evernote Team.It started with an interesting round of introduction... It's always great to meet passionate Bloggers & folks who bring more value to our lives through technology. After this round I got to know that one of the bloggers had never used Evernote, which was quite surprising for me :) . Troy & Anirban from Evernote team shared some of the facts about Evernote eco-system and then I realized that how little I knew about Evernote :)Few weeks back, I had got a premium account of Evernote. But never got a chance to try out some of the awesome stuff offered by Evernote app family or other supporting applications.Troy shared some of the interesting stories about the way he uses Evernote. He shared some of the stories about her family - wife & three kids. He himself keeps travelling so an active user of geo-notes. While he was explaining Geo-Notes, I was wondering if I can create Travel-Trails through Evernote. I essentially needed a feature, through which I click pics at different places on the way and when trip ends, it give me a nice trail covered throughout a trip. How about it?One thing which I liked the most was desktop plugin by Evernote, through which I can make instant notes through content in my browser. This plugin integrate Evernote features within your browser and gives a power of making best out of the content being browsed and in fact it also gives recommendation on the basis of community/friends you belong to. E.g.- I search something on google, Evernote will also suggest that this particular things can be found through xyz channel on Evernote which may be more fruitful as it's coming through recommendations by friends. It was certainly a very different kind of networking meet, where a closed group exchanged thoughts and their own ways of using technologies like Evernnote. Troy was super awesome & most of us were impressed with the way he uses Evernote applications. btw, There are bunch of Evernote apps for different types of devices & many third party applications are integrated with Evernote. So if I have a premium account , I can configure Evernote on Desktop, iMAC, iPhone, Android Phone etc at same point of time. So it gives a flexibility of accessing all your notes on your preferred devices at preferred time.Hope to start using the premium features of Evernote soon and share my personal experiences soon...
