Museo Camera with more than 1000 cameras through Honor 5X

After some random clicks with Honor 5X on first day, today I met one of my favorite Indian Photographer Aditya Arya and again saw his camera collection in Gurgaon. It's always great to meet him and discuss some of the ideas & latest trends. Today I spend 3 hrs at Vintage Camera Museum and saw some of the latest additions. This Photo Journey shares some photographs from this museum of 1000+ cameras and all these images are clicked with Honor 5X.

I have been fortunate to visit this museum few years back when it was not open for everyone. Now if you are interested, you can take an appointment and visit Camera Museo. In my opinion this is one of the best places in Delhi for Photographers and even non-photographers. Mr. Aditya Arya has brilliant collection of vintage cameras which show samazing evolution of cameras.

There are varied kinds of cameras, lenses, flashes, enlargers, 3D cameras, 3D viewers and other gadgets related to Photography. Camera Museo is frequently visited by bloggers & media folks. While we were there, someone from So Delhi was visiting the museum to know about the collection and more about it.

Such places can be very inspiring for photographers and that is how folks can better appreciate innovations happened in past. And realize that how easy the life has become with digital equipments. At the same time, there is a huge debate about the quality of content being produced these days and how it is being used.

And whenever I visit this place, I think of Kodak. Kodak has done great innovations in the field of Photography but unfortunately they left behind when it came to digital photography. This time we saw a flash by Kodak - Kodak Magnesium flash. By looking at it, we couldn't guess what it is. And then Mr Aditya Arya explained about it. I would encourage you to check out more about it on the web. I found an interesting article on camera flashes here.

In very first photograph, Mr Aditya Arya is explaining about the old technology to view 3D photographs. The photograph below shows some of the 3D cameras from 1920-1940. They used to click two views of same scene. So essentially sam view was captured from 2 different angles. Now these photographs were placed side-by-side on a stand and then view through a tiny viewfinder for both eyes. One has to adjust the distance between eyes and the photographs to ensure the sharp view. Now if you look at the view for few seconds, you start noticing 3D depth. That was super impressive.

Again I had a great day with these cameras and Aditya Arya. And I liked the photographs clicked with Honor 5x. These photographs are clicked in basement (read low light conditions).
