How to create a perfect Photograph out of an under-exposed photograph || Layer Modes in Adobe Photoshop Elements

Many times lighting around our subjects is not appropriate and we can't do much in some of the cases, especially when we also want to avoid Camera-flash. Today we shall look at a very easy way of making an under-exposed photograph a better one...As usual let's go step by step to correct an underexposed photograph in Editor of Adobe Photoshop Elements..1. Open one of the underexposed photograph in Editor of Adobe Photoshop Elements. Your Editor workspace will look something like following image -2. Now you have to do two small things in Layer Panel - First would be to double click on background layer and click ok to unlock it and other is to change Layer-Mode to 'SCREEN'. Please image below to have an idea to do it. There is a dropdown which shows 'Normal' by default and we have to select 'Screen' here -3. Now press CTRL+J to duplicate this layer and you will see some change. This first step will add some light to your photograph. Now keep repeating duplication stuff unless you are happy with final results. I have duplicate thrice for this photograph and now it looks good. There is another way of duplicating layers - a. Right click on main layer and say 'Duplicate Layer'b. OR go to Layer Menu and select 'Duplicate Layer'
